Glazing (Glass/Acrylic) Information
"Glazing" is framing-speak for the glass or acrylic sheet that protects the framed object.
At Seago Lane we use acrylic glazing instead of glass glazing to protect framed prints because acrylic is superior to glass in durability and is as effective and clear as glass. Although it costs more to use acrylic, we feel it is the best option for long-lasting, beautifully-framed prints.
Your Choice!
You can choose to use an acrylic sheet or not! Some people like to see the printed material without the clear glass-like cover. Others prefer to have their print behind the acrylic sheet. We leave the option up to you! Just select "Acrylic" or "No Glazing" on your framing options window.
